I love to shop, and I love fashion. But since I become a mom my budget for shopping for myself has drastically decreed. And when I do shop for myself, I love to find cheaper options. For years I only shopped at boutiques, and I never thought about shopping at second-hand stores. Then, I found a second-hand store in my neighborhood, and I was blown away. I found so many almost brand new clothes that are cute, and so cheap that I couldn’t believe. And that is when I realized that I don’t need some expensive and over-the-top clothes to make me feel cute. I don’t need to follow trends and buy the latest hot pieces from a boutique, I can easily find some timeless pieces in a second-hand store and save money.
Also, as I get older, I realize what is the style that suits me the most. And that fashion is not about blindly following fashion trends, it’s about finding a style that is best suited for your personality and your life style.
So, my dear mamas, you don’t have to break the bank to look like a million bucks. Go find some cute and cheap outfits in your local thrift store, and treat yourself. You never know what kind of treasures you will find. And you know what they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
