Hello, my darlings. Today, I want to share with you a simple and delicious recipe for veggie couscous and drumsticks. I love couscous, and especially when you add fresh veggies in it. And I can’t get enough of it. And because my son wasn’t crazy about couscous, I had to make drumsticks. Of course, he had to help me prepare the veggies because he wants to be a cook someday. And I loved it. We had so much fun peeling vegetables and chopping them. It was a bit messy, but he had fun being my little helper. That’s all that meters. Let’s hope that when he is old enough that he will replace me in the kitchen, so I won’t have to cook.’So here is the recipe.

Ingredients for couscous: one red paprika, one yellow paprika, 1/2 of a carrot, 2 celery sticks, 1/2 of a zucchini, 1/2 of a leek onion, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chicken broth.

Wash and chop your veggies into small pieces. We decided to grind the carrot because kids tend to remove it from the plate. We added everything to the pot and added the vegetable oil and seasonings, and two dl of water. We let it cook for about 45 minutes on 160 degrees. I added 2 and 1/2 cups of couscous 5 minutes before it was all done. And added 3 dl of water, and let it cook. Couscous doesn’t need more than 5 minutes.

Ingredients for chicken drumsticks: Four chicken drumsticks, salt, pepper, sweet paprika seasonings, garlic powder, and seasoning mix.
